This Week in the Junior Library

This week we should be saying “goodbye winter!” The first official day of Spring is Friday …. I have my doubts that the date will change the weather. But, here is to hoping! This is what is going on this week in the Junior Library

Art in a Book: Tuesday, Grades 2-5 from 3:15 – 4:15

Burnham Bunch Storytime: Storytime and craft for Preschoolers on Wednesday and Thursday 10:30 – 11:00

Dangerous Club for Boys: Wednesday, Grades 3-5 (boys only!) from 3:15 – 4:00

Dance Camp: Thursday, Kindergarten – Grade 5 from 3:15 – 4:15

Library programs are cancelled if Region 12 is closed. Storytime is cancelled if Region 12 is delayed.

Art in a Book: Eric Carle

We discussed author and illustrator Eric Carle today. What an amazingly talented and creative man. Miss Susan found a book by Klutz called You Can Make a Collage by Eric Carle … It is a complete how-to book on how to create your own piece of collage art. The book is filled with 72 pages of reproduction papers for you to use. It is amazing. We had a great time! I even made one …
