With a few weeks left for school-year storytime, I focused on Oceans. We read three books Never Take Your Shark to the Dentist by Judy Barrett (I skimmed through one — the kids were definitely not feeling it!), Giant Pop-Out Ocean (quickly snatched off the shelf when the first book wasn’t a hit!) and The Beach Ball by David Steinberg. We finished off with a little tune/flannel board and crafted a vicious shark … CHOMP!
